about the job

• Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers and professionals.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Control Management System (QCMS) to ensure product quality and adherence.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for quality performance based on key indicators and customer feedback.
• Provide timely support and expertise to handle quality, product safety, and technical issues on a day-to-day basis
• Implement relevant certifications like HACCP, FSSC 22000, and verify their effectiveness to ensure food safety.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (GMP, HACCP, Halal) and internal protocols.
• Work closely with external vendors to minimize non-conformities that negatively affect efficiency in manufacturing

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering or any relevant working experience.
• 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering/Food Safety role in the FMCG, Food or Process Industry.
• Prior experience in managing/overseeing a team is added advantage.
