about the job
As the successful candidate, you should/will
- have a background in the oil & gas sector, with particular emphasis on commercial contract lifecycle management
- be familiar with after-sales contract processes, including the payment terms and claims process
- have experience in collaboration and coordination with various departments, including legal, tax, insurance, export control, and finance
- Draft, negotiation and conclusion of contractual terms with the client and sub-contractors
- Analysing and adapting international tenders, contracts, and legal documents to align with internal company requirements and templates. Additionally, conducting commercial negotiations with stakeholders, including consortium partners, until the contract is signed
- Handling matters related to licensing and compliance with host country regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (LLB.Hons) or above or business degree with legal focus
- 10+ years' work experience in evaluating commercial contracts, encompassing legal, commercial, tax, and financial perspectives.
- Possesses a robust entrepreneurial mindset and a keen focus on customer satisfaction, all while maintaining a cost-conscious approach.
- Demonstrates exceptional expertise in communication, contract negotiation, crafting terms and conditions, understanding the legal implications of contract terms, and proficient project management.
- Exhibits remarkable organisational, communication, and coordination skills in dynamic work environments.
- Displays strong analytic abilities, independence, and a result-driven approach.
