about the job

  • Build and deliver expert education programs on critical competencies in the company
  • Design and facilitate Strategic Workforce Planning processes for global competence owners and to develop gap closure strategies based on facts and insights.

Some of the incumbent's key accountabilities include:

  • Develop and facilitate programs and journeys as part of the global expert education portfolio and quality assure applicants for programs
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and L&D Partners to ensure ownership and relevance of programs
  • Establish processes to continuously map and present facts about available competence or competence related risks in strategic decision making
  • Act as special advisor to strategic programs on competence requirements and gap closing strategies of HR operations and practices contributing to effectiveness of the Company’s business.
  • Developing, implementing and delivering a consistent and high-quality expert development portfolio across the Group through a variety of learning interventions and training delivery models
  • Developing and operating global Strategic Workforce Planning process and gap closure strategies for critical competencies for BU teams and global competency owners.
  • Advising and supporting Business on how to implement gap closing strategies and utilize available development tools (training, recruiting, rotations)

skills & experience required

  • Must have significant experience in developing and delivering expert education in classroom and online formats
  • Knowledge and exposure of critical competence areas especially technology competencies through online education is required. Must be curious and willing to learn about the shifting technological landscapes and the skill sets needed to stay ahead of changes.
  • Has worked as a project manager in several projects and with knowledge of key tools and methodologies for project implementation
  • Must have significant understanding of competence requirements.
  • Has worked with org. dev projects as a consequence of SWP initiatives
  • Has facilitated workshops with senior management regarding org development
  • Must be proficient in using Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) /Power BI (creating dashboards).
