as a Regional Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for shaping and overseeing the data architecture strategy across the region. This role involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and driving innovation across data platforms. As a key player, you will also be involved in mentoring teams, solving complex data challenges, and contributing to the overall data governance framework.

- oversee design and technical direction for the platform, ensuring alignment with architecture, design patterns, and platform standards
- ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for the platform
- provide technical leadership in architecture design and development, and communicate platform standards to regional IT and data teams
- collaborate with stakeholders, including subject matter experts, vendors, and enterprise architecture teams, to ensure product development follows established patterns and processes
- contribute to the creation of new design patterns and platform standards in partnership with enterprise architecture and technology partners
- assist in the design of new platform components and enhancements with enterprise architecture and technology teams
- support the implementation of the platform's FinOps strategy

knowledge, skills and experience
- a minimum of 10 years experience in software development, data architecture, and integration
- at least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams
- master’s degree in fields such as computer science, engineering, statistics, information technology, information systems, or computer engineering
- must have certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, and Exam AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
- proficiency in Azure Data Stack, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Databricks SQL, Azure Event Hubs, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, etc
- extensive hands-on experience with end-to-end design and deployment of data platforms, utilizing architecture frameworks and methodologies
- strong analytical skills with a focus on resolving complex problems
- excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in team environments
