About our client

Our client is one of the largest foreign financial institution in Malaysia with some 60 branches nationwide. Our client is looking for Relationship Manager for their Business Banking business to manage a portfolio of SME with annual revenue of up to RM 150 million. The role are based in at their Ipoh branch.

About the responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop business banking clients with funding requirements through conventional lending products and debt instruments including deposits/checking account.
  • Formulate and implement competitive customer retention and utilisation strategies to drive and develop the profitability of commercial banking business from both lending and deposit/operating account perspective.
  • Provide total customer solutions to your portfolio of clients.
  • Cross-sell a wide range of banking products and services including Treasury, Payments and Cash Management, Trade, Supply Chain with support from product specialists.
  • Prepare credit proposals within the risk parameters and guidelines.


  • At least 5-8 years of experience in sound lending experience within the small and medium size business space (annual revenue up to RM 200 million) including structuring credit facilties (working capital/trade finance).
  • Must be a hand on relationship manager that does end to end from acquire new clients, manage existing clients, prepare credit paper for submission to credit management for approval, prepare facilities offer letter, documentation up to disbursements.
