Responsibilities:

1. Analyze diverse sets of data related to merchants, transactions, and users to identify risk characteristics. Develop a comprehensive risk quantification strategy for various risk factors, including account takeovers, fraud, gambling, promotion abuse, and arbitrage.

2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as algorithms, policies, products, technology, and operations to build and enhance an AI-based merchant quantitative risk management platform. Develop merchant security solutions and service products.

3. Conduct customer risk analysis to improve our understanding of customer portfolios. Monitor changes in customer behaviors and risk patterns.

4. Strive to balance user payment experiences with risk control measures, ensuring optimization of risk-experience trade-offs.

5. Regularly update risk strategies and provide ad-hoc business support, along with conducting risk management efficiency analyses in report, spreadsheet, and presentation formats.

6. Work closely with various departments, including Business, Compliance, AML, and the Risk product team, to facilitate the smooth implementation of all data-driven decision initiatives.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related data-related subjects.

2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in banking, payment institutions, or the financial sector.

3. Proficiency in AML and fraud risk controls, regulatory requirements, and market practices.

4. Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in SQL data processing. Proficiency in at least one professional analysis tool, such as SAS, Python, R, etc.

5. Exceptional problem analysis and problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and a strong aptitude for learning, innovation, application, and communication and coordination.

6. Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.
