This role provides an opportunity to design end-to-end risk management solutions for SME client onboarding and day-to-day transition risk monitoring. Collaborating with global experts, you will demonstrate effective risk mitigation during onboarding reviews and transaction monitoring, striking a balance between customer experience and risk control. Additionally, you will be expected to lead the establishment of local risk operation systems to support healthy business growth.
Responsibilities:
... - Understand business and internal product/processes to ensure excellent risk operation.
- Design investigation methods for fraud and AML risk cases and provide related training to the risk and business teams.
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence background investigations in accordance with fraud risk policies and compliance standards.
- Systematically analyze risk characteristics and customer experience pain points, establishing an internal library of Customer Risk Profiles. Provide knowledge feedback to the risk policies/strategies team for improved operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Monitor the efficiency of the operation system and compile intelligence reports/circulars for management review.
- Collaborate with business units to address fraud and AML risk cases, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
- Support ongoing customer risk management solutions, including periodic account reviews, Enhanced Due Diligence, and more.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, criminology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in banking, payment institutions, or financial sectors.
- Familiarity with AML and fraud risk controls, regulatory requirements, and market practices.
- Proficient in data analytics, data-driven skills, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
