Our client is one of the leading providers in its industry, bringing businesses and their suppliers closer together with unique technology. Rapidly expanding in Asia, they are currently looking for an RTR Assistant Manager to be part of their global finance shared services team.

about the job

The incumbent will be reporting to Record to Report (RTR) Manager, responsible for the achievement of quality, accuracy and timely delivery of Record to Report services in accordance to the defined SLAs/KPIs. This incumbent will support to deliver the global process initiative to streamline the Record to Report processes and support system enhancement related to NAV Accounting System when required.

  • Ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance to Group accounting standards (local and IFRS).
  • Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve process efficiencies.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory authorities as required for the countries served in FSSC
  • Support assigned projects when required.
  • Maintain and ensure process workflow and documentation are up to date to the current processes.
  • Provides clear leadership and direction to the team, in line with FSSC Strategy.
  • Lead, motivate, develop and coach team members to meet KPIs and SLAs, especially the tight monthly, year end and ad hoc initiative deadlines.
  • Manage team resourcing, performance levels & development plan for business continuity.
  • Liaise with various and stakeholders to gain support and resolve issues.

Skills and experience required

You, as the aspiring candidate should possess:

  • Degree/Professional Qualifications in Finance/Accountancy.
  • At least 6 years of experience in RTR/Financial Reporting.
  • Relevant shared service migration and operating experiences.
  • Strong accounting & taxation knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and networking skills
  • Able to work independently, work under pressure and flexible.
