- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in high-rise residential projects.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and procedures tailored to the specific needs of high-rise construction sites.
- Provide training and orientation to workers and subcontractors on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review construction plans and identify potential safety risks during the design phase.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all safety-related documentation, permits, and certifications are up-to-date and readily accessible.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging safety trends to continually improve safety standards on construction sites.
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks with workers to address safety concerns, share safety updates, and promote a safety-conscious work culture.
- Collaborate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and obtain necessary permits.
- Promote a safety-first mindset among all personnel involved in the high-rise residential project and encourage reporting of any safety-related issues promptly.

These are big companies with teams of good sizes and proper support. You will be reporting to the Project Manager working alongside a strong team of project engineers.
skills and experience required
- Minimum of a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in safety & health.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Prefer construction site working experience in relevant field projects.
- Must be a green book holder.
