job description

about the company

Our client is a public listed property developer established since the 1980s. The company currently has 8 pocket land development projects (majority landed properties) across Central Malaysia with GDV in excess of RM350 million.

about the job

  • Ensure accurate and timely progressive billings to purchasers.
  • Timely collections of receivables in accordance to credit term and follow up regularly on overdue account.
  • Attend and take appropriate action to resolve debtors; enquiries and complaints.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolve potential difficult debtors’ account.
  • Ensure all collections are promptly deposited and accounted for on a timely basis.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with purchasers, bankers and solicitors on SPA and bank loan relevant matters and maintain proper records accordingly.
  • Maintain an up-to-date aging report and reconciliation report for receivables balances.
  • Continually monitor, review and improve the SOP including credit control processes.
  • Issue reminders and letters of recovery of outstanding payments.
  • Monitoring/ensuring timely disbursement either from purchaser or end-financier.

about the manager / team

Reporting to the General Manager, he is a hands-on person who has been with the company for a substantial amount of years. The team works well and has good team spirit. You'll be managing a team of 5 executives who has been with the company for more than a year.

skills & experience required

  • Degree/Diploma in any related field
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in property development handling sales admin and credit control function
  • Analytically minded with excellent administrative skills and work well with numerical data
