about the job

As the Sales Manager, you are accountable for:

  • Identifying Food Service customer channel in Malaysia
  • Developing and penetrating new food service channel customers, enlarge customer base & networking. Responsible for growing the food service customer base in Malaysia as well as continue to look out for opportunities for potential new markets to widen/improve food service distribution network/sales distribution
  • Managing and servicing food service sales accounts - prepare quotations, negotiate and close sales. Monitor sales activities and results. Responsible for all contract management as well as ensure smooth execution/delivery of all transactions
  • Providing timely and accurate information on competitor's pricing and activities and recommending appropriate counter-strategies to remain competitive whilst maximizing profit margins
  • Planning, developing and executing promotion plan.

about the manager / team

The working environment is fast-paced and results-driven. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales.

skills and experience required

  • 10 years of FMCG experience, with proven track of record of sales achievement and strong connection with HORECA customers
  • Commercial savvy, sales-driven and hunter mindset
  • Proven success in managing a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skill
  • Able to work with different levels of stakeholder
