about the company

Randstad is partnering with a US based Fortune 500 company that specializes in providing total logistics solutions. The company is expanding their operation in Malaysia and looking for Sales Manager to join their company at Penang & Johor.

duties and responsibility

  • Effectively maintain and grow sales revenue from key accounts and new customers under his / her responsibility to meet the company's budgeted revenue and profitability for new businesses through sales and marketing activities.
  • Responsible for existing customer relationship management.
  • To follow-up with customers and assists on trouble-shooting customers' issues.
  • Working closely with accounts and operations departments to ensure all sales are in compliance with the company's procedures / policies for credit terms and operations.
  • Continuously maintaining and building good rapport with customers' key personnel and working closely with customer and operations team to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met.

skill/experience

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Logistic / Transportation, Business Studies / Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Must have highly developed problem-solving capabilities with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must have at least 3-4 years experience working in a similar field.
  • Possessing a good network/connection within manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Hi-Tech customers will be an added advantage.
  • An independent, aggressive and achievement-orientated mindset.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, people and networking skills.
