about the job
- Implement marketing strategies and conduct customer segmentation through understanding the market trends and customers' needs
- Be in charge of budgeting, planning, advertising, promotions, community relations, public relations and sponsorship
- Lead the overall sales & marketing functions of the leisure/entertainment business of the mall, for example, indoor theme park, etc
- Plan, organize, implement and monitor mall events, advertising activities, marketing campaigns, function or exhibition and review effectiveness of events and promotions for improvement
- Incorporate online activities with offline marketing promotions
- Assist in preparing the annual marketing plan and ensure that annual targets are achieved
- Develop strategies to attract customer's footfall and eventually increase revenue of the leisure/entertainment business of the mall
- Implement marketing strategies and conduct customer segmentation through understanding the market trends and customers' needs
- Generate and qualify leads for the leisure and entertainment tenants directly under the mall
- Expand the current customer database within the leisure & entertainment sector to generate effective potential business and eventually exceed sales targets for the business
- Prepare long term sales strategies for the business
- Plan and conduct marketing activities in order to build awareness to the public
- Perform business development calls to new and existing clients
- Send bulk emails to the targeted customers
- Present company products to potential clients and follow up by preparing sales & marketing proposals
- Monitor the sales activities closely and develop strategies to improve the sales performance
- Get involved in the industry events within leisure/entertainment/hospitality spectrum to build relationships with key prospects
- Not only look for sponsorship leads for the business, but also advertising space related to the business
- Work closely with the graphic design team and vendors for advertising & promotion related matters
- Oversee and monitor the digital marketing and social campaigns
- Work with external advertising and public relations agencies to implement branding and other marketing approaches
skills and experience required
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent
- At least 5 years of sales & marketing experience in mall, theme park or entertainment industry
