About the company

Our client is an IT solutions company curretly managing a huge O&G project in Malaysia that will also be rolled out to other countries across APAC.


  • Provide consulting expertise for an on-going migration project that would run for 3-5 years
  • Coordinate with SAP ABAP on enhancements and user exits, customizing management
  • Write functional designs for developments in order to cover functional GAPS between business requirements and SAP standard functionality.
  • Basic system integration(IDOCS, files management), migration tools (LSMW, Batch Input)
  • Conduct training to business users or internal IT users in relevant modules.
  • Fixed Assets combining different valuation criteria (local, IFRS, US GAAP) Fixed Under Construction and settlement using WBS elements (Nice to have different controlling models using and understanding profit centers, cost centers, internal orders, project system model.)
  • Communicates daily with finance department users, identify implicit requirements and provide solutions,
  • Reporting tasks: report in periodical and a structured procedure to the central team and be coordinated with.

Skills & Experience.

  • At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in SAP is required with min of 2 full cycle implementation projects in FICO
  • Management accounting, financial accounting experience with strong skills across the FI/CO module including one or more of the following (New G/L, parallel ledger, tax, AP, AR, asset accounting, cash management, bank interfaces, CCA, , Internal Orders, Investment Management, Material Ledger. E statements)
  • Business knowledge: Accounting rules, Malaysian local taxes GST declarations and reports, IFRS integrated with local accounting principles, financial segregation of duties and SOX rules.
  • Very nice to have: experience and knowledge about Oil & Gas industry, PSCs, Joint venture business model, and specific experience in SAP Joint Venture Accounting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions across multiple departments
  • Must be able to speak Bahasa or Mandarin and able to communicate in English fluently
