Our client is a leading local MEP general contractor involved in multiple high profile projects on the lookout for Commissioning Managers well versed in the field of Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication to be based in Kulim, Kedah.

about the job

• Lead and manage the commissioning process from project commencement to conclusion.
• Create and execute commissioning plans and strategies to achieve project objectives and meet client expectations.
• Guide a team of commissioning engineers and technicians, delegating responsibilities and ensuring prompt project completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to establish commissioning scope, schedule, and goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and formulate contingency plans to tackle potential challenges during commissioning.
• Examine and assess project documentation, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate equipment installation and functionality.
• Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation for project closure.

skills and requirements

• Possess and Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in commissioning and project management.
• Experience and knowledge in Semiconductor Wafer FAB would be an advantage.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of commissioning processes, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Must be open to working in Kulim, Kedah.
