about the job

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring the prompt preparation and review of monthly financial statements and management accounts.
• Forecast and plan cashflow, budgeting for fixed expenses, suppliers’ payments, and company loans.
• Oversee daily accounting responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies, standard accounting procedures, and statutory and tax requirements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and reconcile monthly transactions (sales and purchases).
• Maintain an updated fixed asset register and effectively track fixed assets.
• Collaborate with principals for payments and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Handle Accounts Payable tasks to guarantee timely supplier payments, including analysis of A/P reports.
• Manage Accounts Receivable functions to ensure accurate and timely receipt of all payments, analyzing A/R reports.
• Maintain precise and current accounting records in the accounting system.
• Support in ad-hoc assignments and other relevant tasks as delegated.
