• Assist in managing the full set of accounts for a Group of Companies.
• Perform month-end closings and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Monitor and review departmental variance reports, bank, and supplier reconciliations.
• Analyze budget, cash flow, project analysis, and other related financial analyses.
• Prepare management reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely submission.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during annual audits.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain the accounting system.
• Ensure proper recording of all petty cash transactions.
• Assist in submitting related taxes to the Customs Department of Malaysia.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, requirements, and Accounting Standards.
• Review monthly reconciliations and reports prepared by subordinates for accuracy.
• Verify payments and invoices to ensure document completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor cash reserves to ensure sufficient funds for daily expenses.
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments as needed.

requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or its equivalent
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA is advantageous
• At least 4-5 years of experience in full set of accounts (Accounts Payable,
  Accounts Receivables and General Ledger)
• Strong knowledge in budgeting and financial analysis, proficient in data analysis
• A team player with the ability to manage a team and work across all level within the organization
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Good analytical skills, result oriented, organized, detailed and committed to deadlines
• Action oriented, innovative and resourceful with the ability to work independently in a dynamic & fast paced environment
• Possess problem solving and decision-making skills
• Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office applications
