job description

about our client

our client is a leading supplier of Quarry and Premix solutions to the construction and development industry in Malaysia.

about the role

  • Handling the full set of accounts
  • Manage monthly bank reconciliation, cash flow and petty cash transaction.
  • Monthly posting & printing the report of accounts payable and general ledger and closing of AP, AR, cash book & Inventory module.
  • Monthly posting of bank and cash transactions to computerized accounting software.
  • Monthly manual calculation of raw material cost which was excluded from the inventory module.
  • Preparation of monthly debit and credit note.
  • Coding GL code on AP/AR/Cash book & inventory documents for superior posting entry.
  • Monthly journal preparation.
  • Monthly preparation of statement to Inter Co & other Customer.
  • Monthly download & run report from Impact AP, AR, Cash book & Inventory for keep filling.
  • Monthly preparation of balance sheet schedule for the control balances.
  • Responsible to co-ordinate the preparation of external audit materials, prepare schedules for annual audit.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from the superior.

This role is within the finance team and reports to the Assistant Finance Manager

your profile

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
  • At least 3-4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Well versed in using accounting systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • A good sense of commerciality
  • Confident and articulate.
  • Teamwork
  • Be able to multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
