about our client

With a strong heritage of being in the FMCG industry for over half a century, our client is the leading suppliers of their signature products. They are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to join their Finance and Accounts Division. This role will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

about the role

  • Maintenance of general ledger
  • Ensure all revenue and expenses are accounted for in financial books.
  • Closure of monthly management account on timely basis;
  • Perform monthly headcount posting and actual cost allocation run
  • Perform GL account reconciliations and detailed account analysis.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet schedules including inter-company balances are reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Continuously improve on internal control, systems, work process and documentations.
  • Preparation of annual financial reports according to IFRS and Group Accounting policies
  • Regulatory and Internal management review reporting
  • Liaise with external
  • Perform analysis on expenses to ensure compliance of corporate tax
  • Consolidation of financial information for corporate tax to Tax and provide assistance and documentation on tax queries by regulator on the financial records;
  • Assist in financial planning preparation of budget template and costing for budget preparation;
  • Preparation of weekly time-pass to analysis and monitoring of monthly budget versus actual;
  • Prepare forecast financial results on cash flow and financial performance;
  • Assist in financial reviews with internal management
  • To support in any ad-hoc task in relation to GL and reporting as direct by your manager for internal management review and support

your profile

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy. Equivalent qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA etc and experience in Big 4 audit firm would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 4-5 years working experience in Reporting role
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, ERP software and databases
  • Self-motivated, assertive and results driven with ability to manage multiple tasks and meeting date lines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent analytic and communication skill
