key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Android applications, focusing on hardware integration.
- Collaborate with developers, designers etc. to build and test solutions that involve both software and hardware components.
- Implement robust, efficient, and scalable code using Java and Kotlin.
- Debug and resolve issues related to hardware and software interactions.
- Optimize applications for performance, including hardware-related optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and hardware specialists.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Android development
required qualifications
- 7+ years of Android development experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality apps.
- Strong expertise in Java and Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Android hardware integration (e.g., sensors, cameras, Bluetooth, NFC).
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, APIs, and Android lifecycle.
- Familiarity with firmware and working with hardware peripherals.
- Experience in performance tuning and hardware optimization for Android applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving both hardware and software.
preferred skills
- Experience with low-level programming and interacting with hardware interfaces.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware communication protocols.
- Understanding of Android device driver and kernel layer.
- Experience with Android NDK (Native Development Kit).
- Familiarity with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC.
education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
