about the job

  • Develop and implement ideas with the HOD to drive performance in terms of NOI and Total Return at Asset level. Oversee and manage third party advisers (property managers, letting agents, professional advisers and legal teams) where relevant to optimise Asset returns. Depending on local structure report lines have to be coordinated and supervised with the respective advisors.
  • Driving strategy through creation and management of asset plans, asset management initiatives and hold/sell decisions to deliver the performance.
  • Update regularly the financial figures in asset plans, including commercial and technical asset and project budgets, organise the actual financial figures in collaboration with finance and property managers and perform actual budget comparisons
  • Supervise / control payments from accounts and providing supporting information to the Fund or Finance Manager or the client on a regular basis in accordance with agreed reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and present capital expenditure and refurbishment proposalsto the agreed Investment Committees and all other fund committees. Monitor capex works in terms of time, quality and cost budget.
  • Supporting the HeHOD by updating the independent valuers on a regular basis as required, checking draft and approving final valuations.
  • Supporting the Head of Fund Management and/or collaborate with a Transaction Manager on certain purchases by defining underwriting assumptions regarding the asset strategy, assessing DD findings especially regarding the technical DD and the property management review, review certain SPA warranty clauses and selectively being involved in preparing certain paragraphs of papers and presentations to the relevant internal Committee and clients.
  • Take over newly acquired assets into Asset Management (e.g. preparing Asset Plans, budgets and rent roles, etc.) and monitoring and implementing of matters deriving from DD findings and warranties under SPAs.

about the manager/team
Reporting to the COO, he is a hands on person who has been in the industry for a substantial amount of years. The COO believes in delivering results with minimal supervision.

skills & experience required

  • Bachelors' Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing or Interior Architecture
  • At least 5 years experienceas a Facilities manager (Commercial).
  • Background in EHS implementation and upkeeping.
  • A minimum of 10 years in a leadership role capable of leading a team to manage day to day facilities operations
