about the job
- Review or prepare resolutions, minutes, statutory forms, announcements, submission of statutory documents, etc.
- Attend Board meetings, AGM/EGM, and client meetings
- Monitor and comply with submission deadlines
- Maintain and update the statutory books and other records in compliance with the Companies Act 2016
- Advise on the Companies Act 2016, the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements and best practices in corporate governance
- Keep abreast with the developments in corporate law, relevant regulations, and best corporate governance practices
- Assist in collection of receivables from clients
- Guide and supervise subordinates
about the manager / team
Reporting to the Manager, you will be leading a team of 1 - 2 team members. The team works well and has good team spirit.
skills & experience required
- Malaysian citizen with a ICSA qualification (or undertaking final papers) or as a Licensed Secretary with SSM and a minimum 4 years of experience in company secretarial work.
- Well-versed with the Companies Act 2016 and the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Energetic, dynamic, with experience mentoring new colleagues
- Meticulous, good team player and has strong interpersonal skills
