- design, build, and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources (e.g., web scraping, APIs, flat files) into a centralized data storage
- implement and monitor data quality checks to ensure the data's accuracy and completeness
- work with data analysts and scientists to understand their data requirements and deliver the necessary data document and maintain data pipelines and processes
- troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines and processes
- contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures
... knowledge, skills and experience
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field
- expertise in programming languages such as Python and experience with SQL and databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- background in data processing technologies
- understanding of data management and experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues
