As the Senior Employment Counsel, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company complies with all employment laws and regulations. You will provide legal advice, counsel, and support to the organisation on a wide range of employment matters, including but not limited to, employment contracts, industrial relations, and workplace policies.
about the requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited law school
- Ideally 8 years of experience within employment & labour law
- Knowledge and familiarity in dealing with Australian employment laws is an added advantage
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Business acumen and the ability to align legal advice with the company's goals.
- Previous experience working with industrial relations and a diverse workforce is a plus.
