about the company

our client is a well-renowned MNC in the trading industry. With a 300 mill turnover and an ever-expanding presence globally, they are adding this new role to the finance team. The role of the Senior Finance & HR Executive reports directly to the CFO.

about the job

Finance responsibilities

  • Preparing full sets of accounts for the Company.
  • Data entry for accounting transactions.
  • Preparing the Bank Reconciliation Statements
  • Generating the accounting reports, monthly reports and other relevant management reports on timely basis and meeting deadlines for respective reports.
  • Verification of staff claims.

HR responsibilities

  • Preparing the monthly payroll after taking into account the paid and no-pay leave, statutory deductions and other deductions.
  • Assist in preparing the Letter of Employment, relevant documentation thereof and ensuring appropriate signatures by all parties including for Pass for employment and Professional Visit Pass
  • Preparing the annual EA Forms.
  • Managing all matters related to staff insurance policies.
  • Submitting the relevant documents and payments to relevant statutory bodies, accurately and on a timely manner.


your profile

  • Minimum Degree in relevant/equivalent field.
  • Minimum relevant experience of 3 years in similar position.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in finance/accounting and office administration.
  • Must have working knowledge in the following software.
    • MYOB (Accounting and Payroll)
    • Expensify
    • TravelPerk
    • Calamari
    • MS Office
  • Able to exercise discretion with the utmost confidentiality in handling all matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: tact, negotiation skills, empathy, approachability and the ability to work with and through others. Ability to liaise with employees of various nationalities and levels.
  • Able to work harmoniously with others and display a professional attitude towards colleagues and others. Must be a team player and assist where needed.
  • Commitment to Company’s policies, values, and corporate objectives.
