about the company

Our client is an Information Technology company with a strong presence in Malaysia. They are based in Kuala Lumpur. Right now, they are looking for a Senior HR Executive to join their family.

about the role

This is a Senior HR Executive position that reports to the HR Assistant Manager. Our client is looking for someone who can support this function independently.

duties

  • Responsible for handling a full spectrum of HR duties such as payroll, recruitment, leave management and monitor staff attendance.
  • Responsible for a variety of payroll processing activities including computing wages, bonus, allowance claim, and overtime payments; calculating and recording payroll deductions.
  • Execute end to end recruitment activities including, CV screening, the arrangement of interviews, salary negotiation and onboarding of candidates.
  • Actively source for candidates via multiple channels such as job portal advertising, referrals, networking, and headhunting service.
  • To prepare and document terminations, promotion, grievances, attendance and leave record, performance reports, and compensation and benefits information.
  • To handle employees’ grievances and disciplinary issue if any.
  • Assist to organize corporate events such as monthly birthday celebration, quarterly team building, sports club activities, and annual dinner.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior

skills & experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience
  • Possess with working knowledge of Industrial Relations practices, Labour Law and Government regulations.
  • Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with mandarin speaking colleague and superior.
  • Comfortable meeting people with excellent interpersonal skills ability to communicate with all level of people.
  • Team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to work under pressure.
