We are currently looking for a Senior Production Manager/Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

the role
- Oversee the entire internal supply chain process, from customer order acceptance to raw material availability, production planning, loading execution, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain and manage the master production schedule, ensuring efficient utilization of manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material delivery, confirming that material supply meets demand.
- Coordinate production operations based on the availability of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Estimate the necessary amount of materials, equipment, and labor for production.
- Monitor production activities against the plan and adjust the schedule as needed.
- Track daily production progress to ensure adherence to the plan.
- Monitor relevant departments daily to maintain the plan's progress and prevent overstock.
- Implement changes to production schedules to meet production deadlines.
- Communicate promptly with relevant departments about changes to current production schedules.
- Ensure adherence to required delivery dates (OTD).
- Lead and manage the production team, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement production processes and policies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with quality control to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Manage budget and control costs to optimize production expenses.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
the experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering or any relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
- • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) is an added advantage.
