about the job
- Collaborate with the team to establish performance goals and long-term operational plans.
- Improve efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental cooperation.
- Define strategic goals for operational efficiency and enhanced productivity.
- Participate in creating financial and budgetary plans.
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, offering improvement recommendations.
- Partner with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and foster a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, involving planning, scheduling, budgeting, team coordination, and worker supervision.
- Evaluate and enforce safety standards on-site to ensure worker well-being.
- Supervise the contract bidding process and the hiring of subcontractors or external labor when needed.
- Manage project budgets, including the procurement of necessary supplies and materials.
- Direct and oversee all construction project aspects from start to finish, including worker task scheduling and material organization.
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion by overseeing daily operations like equipment maintenance and labor scheduling.
- Review blueprints and plans to determine the best approach for executing construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to create construction plans and schedules.
- Develop and enforce workplace environmental and occupational safety and health (OSH) standards, policies, and procedures.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Managers and the Company as needed.

These are big companies with teams of good sizes and proper support. You will be reporting to the Project Manager working alongside a strong team of project engineers.
skills and experience required
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years site based experience, preferably in construction of high-rise projects.
- Committed, willing to work long-hours and reliable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Proficient in organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a track record of professional achievements.
- Exceptional knowledge spanning various operational functions and principles, encompassing finance, customer service, production, and personnel management.
- Demonstrated capability to strategize and oversee operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
