A construction company with a proven financial track record in the past 10 years. They specialise in fast track projects. Currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Penang (Simpang Ampat) office.

about the job

• Prepare bill of quantities, taking-off, and cost estimates prepare for tender submission/quotation.
• Prepare variation order cost and finalise project accounts together with the Project Department.
• Prepare claims and obtain approvals from Clients or Consultants.
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and authorities on all aspects of tender.
• Prepare project budgetary and comparison in terms of tender and sub-contract works.
• Prepare subcontractors and suppliers & work package tender.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and payment recommendations to the Management.
• Compile all the costing files and summaries to Post-Contract Negotiation / Awarding Committee for final negotiations once the projects is secured.

about the manager/team
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Contract Manager and working together with a team of Quantity Surveyors.
