Randstad is partnering with a Turkish based company who is a global semiconductor distributor. The company is looking to expand their footprint in Malaysia and looking for a talented Senior Sales Engineer as part of their growth strategy.
duties and responsibility:
- Manage the full process of the sales cycle, from developing a new customer pool, establishing customer databases, pre-sale & post-sale customer support.
- To identify new business opportunities and expand existing business
- Regular visits to customers & prospective customers
- Understand customer's needs or technical requirements and recommend products & services accordingly
- Demonstrate a sound technical understanding of the company's strengths and products to customer and prospective customer
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, coordinate with technical team for technical checks & develop solutions, provide technical support & preparing reports to Management
- Carrying out market research (collect, analyze customer data) to update management regarding the market trend and competitor's activities
- Prepare weekly sales reports, revenue & expense report, sales strategic plans and other periodical reports required by Management. Formulate strategies to achieve assigned sales targets and objectives
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree holder in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic/Mechatronic)
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in sales and possessing experience selling electronic components to the semiconductor industry.
- Show awareness of market trends, new technologies, and industry updates
- Independent, self-initiative, good analytical and excellent technical & problem-solving skills.
- Good Customer Relationship Management and Negotiation Skills
- Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers and fast response to customer enquiries
