This role reports to the Marketing Director and will be supported by other functions for marketing campaigns.
Developing and Executing SEO Strategies: The Senior SEO Specialist will craft a detailed SEO roadmap that aligns with the company’s goal of becoming the leading content platform in the region. They will continually refine and adapt strategies to stay ahead of market trends.
On-Page SEO: They will optimize the company’s content for search engines, including conducting keyword research, optimizing meta tags, headers, internal linking, and enhancing overall content quality.
Off-Page SEO: The Specialist will manage backlink building, outreach efforts, and use social signals to enhance domain authority and search engine rankings.
Technical SEO: This role involves conducting regular site audits, ensuring that site architecture is optimized for SEO, improving site speed, and resolving crawl errors. The Specialist will also collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO improvements.
Performance Tracking: The Senior SEO Specialist will monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. They will provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization.
Collaboration: They will work closely with the content team to ensure all published content is search engine optimized and will partner with marketing and product teams to support broader company initiatives.
about you
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, and be familiar with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
- Analytical Skills: You have strong analytical abilities, capable of identifying trends and providing insights using platforms like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how these impact SEO is required. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus.
- Communication: You have good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese & English due to business partners needs.
- Agility: You are self-starter with a proactive attitude, able to thrive in a start-up environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion: You have a genuine passion for SEO and content, with a continuous drive to stay updated with industry trends.
