• Primary responsibilities include managing and continually improving planning, logistics, warehousing and shipping function activities and procedures within the Distribution Department.
• Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of distribution management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business.
• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the distribution.
• Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts.
• Analyses current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of distribution and profitability for the company.
• Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals. Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting.

skill/experience:

• Minimum 10 years working experience with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in supply
  chain / logistics management position in Planning, Logistics / Shipping and Warehousing in Retail or FMCG environment
• Well versed in inventory control in System environment.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of business acumen capable of presenting logical and well-structured proposals.
• Strong leadership and organizational skill to manage a diverse team
• Strong people management skill
