You will be reporting to the Head of Trade Marketing
A Senior Trade Marketing Executive at this company is a role responsible for developing, executing and evaluating the company's trade marketing strategies to drive growth and profitability. The position reports to the Trade Marketing Manager and involves the following duties and responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective trade marketing plans that drive sales, profitability and brand awareness.
Conduct market research, analyze data and identify opportunities to improve product placement, distribution, pricing and promotions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, brand marketing, finance, and supply chain to achieve business objectives.
Work closely with key accounts to develop and execute effective trade marketing programs, promotions and joint business plans.
Develop and manage a budget for trade marketing activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
Monitor and analyze the performance of trade marketing programs, promotions, and activities and develop action plans to address issues or capitalize on opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on trade marketing strategies, trends and best practices.
Lead and develop a team of trade marketing professionals, providing coaching, feedback and guidance to enhance their performance.
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong analytical, strategic, communication and leadership skills are required, with a proven track record in driving sales growth and profitability through effective trade marketing strategies
- Hands on experience with AC Nielsen or Kantar will be an added advantage
