About The Role

You will be responsible for providing guidance to business when it comes to advising and interpreting policies and controls related to Shariah Audit. The employer is looking for a Shariah Audit Professional that possess excellent communication, strong leadership qualities and people's skill to support the strategic expansion business mainly focused in Islamic Banking. You will be reporting straight to Head of Department.


- You will be assisting Head of Shariah in the development of internal audit strategies, standard and policies
- You will need to ensure audit programs are prepared and updated periodically
- You will be planning for the audit engagements including the scope and objectives of the individual audits
- You will be assisting Head of Shariah to review and evaluate the work that are completed, advise, and provide recommendations on the accuracy, adequacy and documentation leading to preparation of audit report
- You will supervise and ensure that audit tasks are completed within the budgeted time frame

Skills & Experience

- Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree
- Experienced in Audit or Shariah Audit within Financial Services
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Shariah Banking
- Relevant Shariah Professional Certificates will be an added advantage
