You will need to:
- Prepare and craft a wide range of traditional Nyonya kueh
- Ensure the authenticity and consistency of recipes, maintaining the high standards expected by our establishment.
- Source and select the finest ingredients, with a focus on quality and traditional methods.
- Innovate and introduce new variations while respecting traditional flavors and techniques.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, food preparation, and sanitation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal and special occasion menus that highlight Nyonya kueh.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Nyonya Kueh Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery.
- Deep knowledge of Nyonya cuisine, with expertise in making traditional kueh.
