About The Role

You will be responsible for providing guidance to business when it comes to advising and interpreting policies and controls related to Business Continuity Management (BCM). The employer is looking for a Risk Professional that possess excellent communication, strong leadership qualities and people's skill to support the strategic expansion business mainly focused in Business Continuity Management (BCM). You will be reporting straight to Head Of Department.


- You will be assisting VP of Ops Risk in managing the Operational Risk and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) portfolios of the Corporation, and increase Operational Risk Management (ORM) and BCP awareness within the Corporation's staff

- You will be developing and implement risk-related / BCP guidelines in the corporation

- You need to ensure the Operational Risk Management Committee, Board Risk Management Committee and BCP Committee reporting are validated, accurate and delivered in a timely manner

- You will be reviewing the effectiveness of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) tools used, i.e Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and Incident Management Data Collection (IMDC) with the objective of reducing operational losses within the corporation

- You need to ensure smooth coordination readiness and functionality of back up infrastructure for the BCP process across the Corporation.

- You will develop, review and recommend operational risk appetite and tolerance level within the Corporation

- You will be supervising projects undertaken by the ORM

Skills & Experience

- Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree

- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Banking or Financial Institution

- Relevant qualifications in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) will be an added advantage

- Knowledge of Basel Accord; BNM Regulations on risk management and BCP, ORM system

- Preferably Managers/Assistant Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Institution or equivalent
