about the company:
Randstad is partnering with an international company that specializes in FMCG products. The company is expanding their Malaysia footprint and looking for a Supply Chain Manager as part of their growth strategy.
duties and responsibility:
- Establish and transform the Supply Chain team towards an integral part of the organisation to support Company objectives and business model.
- Responsible for Commercial business partnering, Sales and Operation Planning, Replenishment / Inventory Management, 3PL management to support business growth in Malaysia
- This position is expected to lead, synergise and integrate end-to-end Supply Chain across cross functional stakeholders to establish an efficient Supply Chain to drive lower cost and reduce working capital requirements
- Lead S&OP initiatives with quantitative and qualitative analysis to optimize the cost and efficiency of the company end-to-end Supply Chain; in alignment with GROUP SCM
- Responsible for achieving optimal group inventory turns for finished goods, in order reduce working capital requirements and external warehousing costs
- 3PL management to ensure day to day operations run smoothly and KPIs is achieved to meet customer expectations
skill/experience:
- Minimum University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent.
- (7-10+ years) in a Supply Chain Management position, covering S&OP, Inventory management, logistics planning and etc
- Demonstrate analytical, interpersonal and team skills
- Good business acumen to optimize supply chain value-chain to deliver business goals.
