about the team:
You will be managing a team of 10 executive level individuals that specialize in purchasing, sourcing, planning and warehousing. You will be reporting directly to the CEO
duties and responsibility:
... - Develop and implement overall supply chain strategic framework and key processes to maximize customer satisfaction through faster delivery at the lowest possible cost
- Identify, evaluate and select local and global suppliers, and set-up standards and processes for contract negotiation, price benchmarking, quality control and periodic auditing
- Establish a fast-response, competitive sourcing team to support the Sales organization.
- Control and manage price increases from suppliers, and ensure any cost increases are communicated to customers and passed on whenever possible
- Work closely with both the Planning- and the Purchasing Manager to achieve optimal inventory levels
and to improve customer service, increase inventory turns, or reduce waste - Manage the warehouse function including receiving of raw materials, shipping of finished goods, and organizing of both in the warehouse area.
skill/experience:
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma,Bachelor's Degree in engineering, supply chain or any business field and other disciplines.
- Experience working in a manufacturing company, specifically on contract manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication will be a natural advantage.
- Must have prior sourcing, supply chain and inventory management experience
- Experience and a solid understanding of ERP/Inventory Control systems.
