- Perform Level 2 troubleshooting of application issues and engage vendors for Level 3 support
- Understand user requirement and provide business solutions
- Liaison person with vendors to discuss business requirement and develop functional specifications
- Translate functional specifications to technical specifications
- Have good understanding of system integrations surrounding core applications
- Engage technical vendors and business users to provide good quality deliverables
qualifications
- Minimum working experience of 8-10 years
- Must have hands-on working experience within the life insurance domain
- Able to write programs using COBOL/COBOL SQL
- Good understanding of all life insurance module (New business/claims/Policy admin)
- Having good AS400,IBM iSeries and DB skills, SQL/MYSQL is a plus
- Experience in launching products is plus
