Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Tax Advisor to join our team. The Tax Advisor will be responsible for overseeing corporate tax returns primarily in the APJ region (with potential assistance in EMEA), collaborating closely with tax providers, and supporting tax planning initiatives. Additionally, the role will involve managing transfer pricing documentation and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and Oversight of Corporate Tax Returns:

- Review corporate tax returns primarily for APJ entities and potentially support in the EMEA region.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance in tax returns, providing checks and balances.
Tax Planning Assistance:- Assist the Tax Manager and Tax Director in tax planning activities, especially during restructures and changes in legal entities.
- Work alongside tax providers to incorporate their advice into the tax planning process.
Transfer Pricing and Compliance:- Collaborate with tax providers on transfer pricing matters, including Masterfile, local file, and CBC-OR documentation for various entities.
- Ensure adherence to different tax requirements and transfer pricing regulations.
Withholding Taxes, Tax Files, and Audits:- Participate in processing withholding taxes, tax files, and audits, working closely with the accounting and tax teams.
Research and Policy Alignment:- Utilize resources like CCH and conduct research to stay updated on tax policies, ensuring alignment with company practices.
Requirements:
- Essential Skills:
- Approximately 2 years of corporate income tax experience.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-focused studies.
- Flexibility with different time zones to meet hard deadlines and coordinate across regions.
- Proficiency in Excel (fundamentals) and experience in multinational company settings.
- Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with tax software/tools (e.g., CCH).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous exposure to transfer pricing and compliance matters is advantageous.
