Working as an individual contributor.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop effective trade strategies to amplify winning product concepts at POS, incorporating category-merchandising tactics & shoppers insights in order to provide key account managers with strategic guidelines
- Drive long terms strategic objectives and goals for the brand in assigned channel in ways of disrupting shopper's purchase process and expand category consumption for customers
- Evaluate effectiveness of in-store activation programmes and promotion campaigns
- Develop and execute completely the full value chain of in-store trade activation programmes, i.e. from concept development, promotion mechanics, sell-in story to retailers and post mortem analysis to optimise ROI
- Regular market visits and reviews to identify insights via informal shopper's interview for identification of shopping trends
skills and experience required
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 4 years of trade marketing experience in the FMCG industry
- An understanding of category management principles and processes
- Competent in using Nielsen Retail Audit data and Spaceman software applications
- Strong negotiation, market analysis and people management skills
