about the role

We have several Candidate Manager vacancies to be mentored under the wing of our highest and brightest performers. The highest level of company training and guidance is given for you to ensure your success in the role. As a Candidate manager, you will be supporting the Senior Consultants with tasks including candidate management (calls and interviews), database maintenance and ensuring quality assurance/compliance. This role is designed to grow and we view this as a role that teaches you how to become a recruitment consultant. Within 6-9 months of in depth training, you will have full competency in face to face interviewing candidates, presenting shortlists to clients and filling open roles.


  • Sourcing banking candidates from multiple platforms
  • Networking with a prescribed candidate database to ensure we ALWAYS know their status
  • Identify skills to match appropriately with vacancies
  • Candidate reference checking
  • Database maintenance - coding the database and uploading the most recent CV's
  • Candidate compliance

skills & experience required

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma (prefereably in either HR, Accounting or banking related study)
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to pick up new technology fast
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keeness to work in the recruitment industry
  • Competitivie spirit and winning mindset
  • High degree of resilience and mental toughness
  • Meticulous in your detail

Randstad has monthly team activities as well as quarterly and annual celebrations for the company. Being a Candidate Manager is a Monday to Friday role from 9am - 6pm. Although the role is mainly desk-based, you'll get to meet clients and candidates both on and off site.
