scope

This role involves acting as point of contact for all temporary payroll contractors facilitating all documentation, processes and workflow for onboarding/offboarding and work pass application. you will be the liaison between consultants, clients, contractors and finance shared services, performing all temporary payroll solution responsibilities with the main focus on streamlining the onboarding/offboarding process.

about the job

Some of the incumbent's key accountabilities include:

  • liaise with clients and contractors to collate all information and documentation for onboarding/offboarding and work pass application
  • ensure all work pass issuance is completed for successful cases before contract deployment begins
  • work with consultants and clients to draft employment contracts with terms which are aligned with Malaysia’s Employment Act
  • ensure complete and accurate data is entered into the system to facilitate payrolling and invoicing
  • be the point of contact for key stakeholders (consultants, client, contractors and payroll team) to resolve any queries relating to leave management, timesheet submission/approval and payroll.
  • send monthly emails to remind contractors and clients to submit and approve timesheets.
  • consolidate data of existing contractors’ assignments and trigger reminders to consultants and clients for extensions
  • generate reports, maintain records and update information on work assignments
  • other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

skills & experience required

  • At least 2 years of working experience in HR in a similar capacity
  • Sound knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and related statutory bodies requirements
  • A confident, friendly and adaptable individual who has the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Experience in work pass applications, or exposure to recruitment agencies would be advantageous
  • Service and delivery focused
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
  • Well-organised with high attention to detail & accuracy
  • Deadline driven with a sense of urgency
  • Reliable and able to work with limited supervision
