At Randstad, the legal team plays an important role in guiding the business and protecting the company. We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join our team as Contract Analyst for Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Contract Analyst will support the legal review of commercial contracts for our operations in Malaysia, Singapore & Hong Kong, assist sales staff with client negotiations, and maintain a central repository of contractual documentation for record keeping purposes. This is a junior level position working within the staffing & recruitment industry. The role will be a fixed term contract of 1 year (with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role)

Key accountabilities of the Role

  • Timely and efficient review/drafting of commercial contracts and associated documentation in accordance with Randstad’s policies & procedures;
  • Ensuring that risks assumed in commercial arrangements are in line with accepted Group Legal – Holdings requirements;
  • Assist with contract management and commercial negotiations;
  • Maintaining a central repository of contractual documentation for recordkeeping purposes;
  • Undertake liaison with internal management, staff, legal professionals, and others as appropriate;
  • Carry out such additional duties as may reasonably be required by Randstad from time to time; and
  • Undertake all activities for or on behalf of the organisation in line with the Randstad Values, Business Principles and Code of Conduct.

Education

  • Law degree or equivalent

Experience

  • This is a graduate-trainee position and no specific prior experience is required. Previous experience in corporate/commercial law background (whether in-house/law firm) is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of contract law, and corporate/commercial law.
