About our role

As a Consultant at Randstad Malaysia you learn your clients' requirements to gain a detailed understanding of their specific recruitment needs and build a strong, ongoing relationship. You get to know your candidates, sell the best match back to the client, and manage your talent pool by staying in regular contact and keeping your network strong. This is a fast paced role in a high performance business, working towards individual KPI’s and sales targets.

Duties

  • Business development within the banking & finance sector
  • Meeting contacts within the sector to sell and promote Randstad’s offering
  • Network and grow your candidate database
  • Validate the clients open vacancies & match your candidates to the roles
  • Ensure your work is backed by our compliance standards

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in recruitment OR B2B sales OR have relevant industry experience
  • Ability to be calm under pressure and create a plan to execute
  • Previous experience with senior stakeholder management
  • Candidates from audit backgrounds held in high regard
  • Mature minded with accountability for your own work
  • Possess commercial drive
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and one other Asian language
  • High degree of resilience
  • Ability to pick up technology and utilise multiple platforms quickly
