- Operational Oversight: Support the management of all essential building services—including M&E, HVAC, vertical transportation, plumbing, and fire protection—ensuring full alignment with statutory codes and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and synchronize the activities of the internal maintenance crew and external vendors to drive operational efficiency and high-standard service delivery.
- Asset Optimization: Develop and oversee comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and eliminate disruptions to mall operations.
- Incident & Defect Control: Proactively track maintenance schedules and spearhead the rapid resolution of technical defects and facility-related issues.
- Project & Tenant Management: Supervise tenant fit-outs, renovations, and mall enhancement projects, ensuring all works strictly adhere to building guidelines, safety protocols, and delivery milestones.
- Financial Stewardship: Contribute to the formulation of maintenance plans and assist in rigorous budget monitoring and strategic cost-saving initiatives.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or mall operations.
- Hands-on experience in managing comprehensive building services and M&E systems, with specific proficiency in HVAC, fire protection, vertical transportation (lifts/escalators), and plumbing.
- Strong technical understanding of local authority requirements, safety regulations, and statutory compliance governing commercial building operations.
