Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional to work with a well renowned property developer. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial health, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1) Financial Reporting & Portfolio Management
- Oversee and maintain independent, accurate full-set accounts for assigned entity portfolios in accordance with accounting standards.
- Direct month-end and year-end closing procedures to produce timely, review-ready management accounts and audit schedules.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, reviewing audit drafts and resolving accounting discrepancies to uphold statutory statement integrity.
2) Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Prepare and submit tax estimations (CP204/CP204A), file annual tax returns (Form C), and formulate forward-looking tax projections for future Years of Assessment (YA).
- Ensure all property development-specific statutory submissions are completed and filed punctually.
- Oversee and operate the LHDN e-Invoicing portal to maintain full regulatory alignment across all commercial transactions.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / MIA or equivalent).
- Proven track record handling full-set accounts.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with external auditors, bank representatives, and legal counsel.
