- Responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to maximize shopper footfall and enhance the mall's brand presence.
- Footfall Generation: Plan, organize, and execute the mall’s annual marketing calendar, including major festive campaigns, weekend roadshows, and crowd-pulling events.
- Tenant Collaboration: Partner with retailers and tenants to design joint promotional activities and marketing campaigns that boost overall sales turnover.
- Campaign & Media Management: Oversee the mall’s advertising channels, encompassing traditional media, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, and digital/social media platforms.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage the assigned A&P budget effectively, negotiate with event vendors, and ensure seamless on-ground execution of all activities.
- Market Tracking: Monitor local retail trends and competitor activities within Sarawak to identify new promotional opportunities.
skills and experience required
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years in Mall Marketing, Retail or Event Management with strong knowledge of the Sarawak or East Malaysia market.
- Strong connections, event planning skills, creative mindset, and good negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
