key responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rapid innovation.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units. Translate complex business needs into actionable AI roadmaps and clearly communicate AI capabilities, limitations, and ROI to C-level executives.
• Next-Gen AI Development: Spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge Generative AI and multi-agent systems (Agentic AI) to automate complex workflows and drive business value.
• AI Architecture & Strategy: Design robust, secure, and scalable AI architectures that seamlessly integrate with our existing enterprise software and data ecosystems.
• End-to-End AI Solutions: Drive the full lifecycle of AI product development, from initial scoping, data exploration, and proof-of-concept (PoC) to final deployment and ongoing optimization.
• MLOps & Production: Establish and enforce rigorous MLOps practices, ensuring high availability, scalability, and continuous monitoring of deployed models in production environments.

requirements:

• Extensive Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Software Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing technical teams and driving cross-functional alignment.
• Stakeholder Influence: Strong executive presence with the ability to align business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams behind a unified AI vision.
• Deep Technical Expertise: Highly technical background with the ability to dive deep into code, review architecture decisions, and design complex software systems.
• GenAI & LLMs: Deep, applied knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications, alongside a strong understanding of Agentic AI frameworks.
• Advanced Data Retrieval: Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• ML & MLOps: Comprehensive knowledge of traditional Machine Learning algorithms, lifecycle management, and modern MLOps frameworks (e.g., CI/CD for ML, MLflow, model monitoring).
• Track Record of Delivery: A proven history of taking complex AI solutions out of the research phase and successfully scaling them in live production environments.

nice to haves:

• Deep expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their native AI/ML services.
• Experience working with and fine-tuning open-source foundational models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) using techniques like LoRA or PEFT.
• Strong background in Data Engineering, including building large-scale data pipelines and data lakes to support AI initiatives.
