About the Role
Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your career with a leading, public-listed property developer?
I am currently working with an establised property developer who is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to drive financial reporting, project cash flow management, tax compliance, and budget operations. In this role, you will lead monthly financial closings, oversee project financial feasibilities, and serve as a key liaison with internal business units and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead monthly management reporting (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) and oversee all accounting entry approvals for Malaysian and overseas entities.
- Project Finance & Cash Flow: Prepare and monitor project cash flow projections, monthly profit recognition analysis, and updates to project financial feasibilities.
- Audit & Compliance Management: Lead the drafting of audited financial reports, complete pre-audit checklists, and liaise directly with external auditors to ensure smooth year-end completions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA / CPA / MIA or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably within the property development sector. Audit background is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, project profit recognition standard (MFRS 15), and financial modeling/feasibility tracking.
